Joey De Guzman is a young director / filmmaker from Auckland, New Zealand; currently based in his birth country, the Philippines. Growing up as an independent filmmaker, Joey has become resourceful and innovative having written, directed, produced, shot and edited various creative works. These include corporate videos, commercials, music videos and short films, which have screened in film festivals internationally. His short documentary "Jailbreak" won best documentary at the Living Skies Student Film Festival in Regina, Canada among other international selections. Joey is currently in pre-production of his first feature film "BROTHER".
